The winning ticket was purchased from a local newsagency and lottery officials are encouraging players in the area to check their tickets for the winning 7 numbers. The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1008 were 15, 24, 38, 29, 11 and 12 plus Powerball number 15.

New South Wales

• A syndicate of 10 from Wallsend in the Newcastle area is $1,010,095.60 richer after their System 8 ticket won Division 1 in last week’s $1,000,000 Wednesday Lotto. Each member took home $101,009.56 in prize money. The winning numbers from Wednesday Lotto draw 3485 on the 9th of September were 27, 31, 23, 16, 1 and 6 plus supplementary numbers 37 and 11.


• An anonymous lotto player from Sydney was New South Wales’ second Division 1 winner in last week’s $1,000,000 Wednesday Lotto. No further details are known at this time. The winning numbers from Wednesday Lotto draw 3485 on the 9th of September were 27, 31, 23, 16, 1 and 6 plus supplementary numbers 37 and 11.


• A woman from Orange in the state’s Central West region was the sole Division 1 winner in The Pools draw on the 1^st of August. Her winning ticket was purchased from a local newsagency and brought her over $215,000 in prize money. The winning numbers in The Pools draw 1566 were 31, 20, 38, 36, 26 and 21 plus supplementary number 18.

Queensland

• A woman from Coolangatta on the Gold Coast was one of four Division 1 winners in last week’s $1,000,000 Wednesday Lotto. Her winning System 8 ticket was purchased from a local newsagency and carried a total of $1,010,095.60 from Division 1 and minor division prizes. The winning numbers from Wednesday Lotto draw 3485 on the 9th of September were 27, 31, 23, 16, 1 and 6 plus supplementary numbers 37 and 11.


• A retired couple from the Sunshine Coast were the second Division 1 winners in Queensland from last week’s $1,000,000 Wednesday Lotto draw. They won $1 million with a 12-game Standard ticket which was purchased from a local newsagency.
